DentiGen (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates DentiGen, a cloud-based dental practice management platform used by clinics in the European Union and the United States.

DentiGen is designed for professional healthcare use. Clinics control all patient data entered into the platform. DentiGen processes data solely to provide and operate the service.

1. Data We Process

We process the following categories of data:

• Account & clinic data (name, email, role, clinic details)
• Patient and clinical data entered by clinics (appointments, treatments, notes, documents, billing)
• Technical data (IP address, logs, timestamps)
• Communications (system emails, reminders, notifications)

We do not sell personal data.

2. How We Use Data

Data is processed to:

• Operate and secure DentiGen
• Authenticate users and enforce access control
• Manage appointments, records, billing, and reporting
• Send transactional communications
• Monitor performance and system health

3. Legal Basis (EU & US)

For EU users, processing is based on:

• Contractual necessity
• Legitimate interests (security, reliability)
• Instructions from clinics acting as data controllers

For US users, processing is based on:

• Contractual obligations

DentiGen applies industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, role-based access, tenant isolation, and audit logging. Access is restricted to authorized users and systems only.

5. Data Sharing

Data may be shared with trusted service providers (hosting, email, payments, monitoring) strictly to operate DentiGen. All providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

6. Data Retention

Clinics control patient data retention. Account and system data is retained only as long as necessary to operate the service and meet legal obligations.

7. Your Rights

EU users may exercise rights under GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, and portability. US users may exercise applicable state privacy rights.

Requests should be directed to the clinic or to DentiGen where appropriate.
